Sandhiya has been cooking from the age of 12, learning this art from her mother, an accomplished cook.  She also formalized her training with a 3-year chef’s degree from the Institute of Hotel Management in India, and advanced culinary studies from Purdue University. She is also a certified Personal Chef. She marries her vast culinary knowledge with the precepts of Ayurveda in her offerings of delicious and wholesome Vegetarian cuisine.  Whether you are looking to learn to make simple and healthful meals for your family or explore the intricacies of Indian cooking, Sandhiya will customize your experience. She also offers personal chef and catering services for as well as cooking for events, workshops and retreats.

Indian Culinary Odyssey A-Z
If you have ever been intimated by Indian cooking or not known where or how to start, this is for you. Includes a trip to Little India where you will learn about the staples of the Indian kitchen, guided shopping for Indian groceries including grains, legumes, herbs and spices, traditional Indian lunch at one of restaurants and private cooking classes to help you create the magic of Indian vegetarian cuisine in your own home.
